  • Foundation Education

Our students undergo a 'Foundation Year' education process determined by universities based on their high school graduation and average grades.

These one-year preparation programs cover various subjects and include fundamental courses specific to the desired undergraduate degree. Upon successful completion, students are provided with direct access to a university's undergraduate program. These programs may be implemented within some universities themselves or in affiliated colleges. The course content is determined based on the student's intended major; for example, a student wishing to study business would take a foundation class covering basic business courses. Similarly, a student enrolled in a preparatory class for an engineering program would take fundamental engineering courses. These preparatory programs also include additional subjects such as academic English and study skills that students may need.

"Foundation" programs are also available in independent private colleges. These schools have smaller class sizes and provide more individual attention. They have robust control mechanisms such as quarterly progress reports and additional interim reports as needed to assess student development.

Preparation programs may be referred to by various names such as "foundation," "international foundation," "Bridging," or "University Access."

Programs begin in late September to early October each year. Some universities offer programs starting in January-February as well. Undergraduate degrees are categorized into groups based on their subjects, such as "Bachelor of Arts (BA)," "Bachelor of Science (BSc)," "Bachelor of Law (LLB)," "Bachelor of Medicine (MB)," "Bachelor of Education (BEd)," "Bachelor of Architecture (BArch)," and "Bachelor of Engineering (BEng)."
